National 4-H Congress

National 4-H Congress is the flagship event of the 4-H program. For seventy-nine years, youth from the United States and its territories have participated in this youth leadership development conference. The Congress provides youth, ages 14-19, a quality, educational, and cross-cultural experience that exceeds what any state independently provides. North Carolina's delegation to this year's Congress included 17 youth and 3 adults. MORE

Tobacco Research Referendum Vote ~ November 19, 2009

The Tobacco Research Referendum vote is coming up on November 19, 2009. The Cooperative Extension office located at 123 Caroline Street, Rockingham will be the sole poling location in the county for this vote on November 19. The referendum is being held to let tobacco growers decide if they wish to continue the self-assessment program.
