NCDA&CS Pesticide Schools and Paraquat Certification: Update

— Written By

N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announces cancellations of all NC Pesticide Schools from now until the end of May. The schedule from June onward is still tentatively scheduled. Please check the NC Pesticide Safety Portal for further updates.

For Paraquat Users: the new label requires a private applicators license and a certificate of specific training on using paraquat. That training may be taken online. More information is available on the Pesticide Section website.

Stay tuned for information on continuing education credits for licensing. Face-to-face trainings are canceled for the foreseeable future, however, online trainings are in development. Contact Anthony Growe, Livestock and Row Crops Agent (910.997.8255), if you need information about specific pesticide credits.
