Cooperative Extension of Richmond County and the Rod and Gun Club have agreed to postpone the 2020 Wild Foods Cookoff, scheduled on March 24 at 6 p.m., until further notice. It has been recommended that NC State Extension personnel try to minimize the spread of the virus in our communities by canceling events that attract large gatherings.
Considering that this event involves prepared foods, and typically has a large number of attendees, postponing this event will also ensure the safety of our attendees and volunteers. We apologize for the inconvenience and will notify everyone when a new date is set!
