Freezer Jam is an amazing burst of fruit taste that can be made in your home. In our hands-on virtual workshop we will use the Put it Up! Food Preservation for Youth curriculum to teach youth how to make their own strawberry freezer jam. The Put It Up! Food Preservation for Youth curriculum is a series of educational lessons that guide youth to explore and understand the science of safe food preservation. The curriculum is from the National Center for Home Food Processing and Preservation, University of Georgia Cooperative Extension, and Clemson Cooperative Extension. Our recipe does not require the use of the stove.
This workshop is a collaboration between Richmond and Forsyth Counties.
