Sliding high tunnel at Peregrine Farm

The Chatham County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension will offer a High Tunnel Production workshop as part of its Enhancing Sustainability Series on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Silk Hope Farm Heritage Center in Silk Hope, NC. High tunnels can be used to extend the growing season and enhance growth, yield, and quality of a wide variety of horticultural crops. North Carolina’s top high tunnel experts will share their many decades of research and experience with successful high tunnel production.
